Just Add Power’s MaxColor™ 4K60 Series Honored With a Residential Systems Best of Show Award

SEMINOLE, Fla. — Sept. 23, 2021 — Just Add Power,

a leader in AV-over-IP distribution, today announced that the company’s new MaxColor 4K60 Series was honored with a Residential Systems Best of Show Award at CEDIA Expo 2021 in Indianapolis.

Residential Systems Best of Show Award winners were chosen based on a number of criteria, including value, impact, and uniqueness to the market. This year, judges were impressed with Just Add Power’s MaxColor 4K60 transmitter and receiver, which provide integrators with an affordable and scalable 4K UHD distribution platform to support today’s 4K source content natively over existing network infrastructures.

“We were really looking forward to showing off our MaxColor 4K60 series at CEDIA this year, but like many companies, we made the hard decision not to attend due to the Delta variant,” said Taft Stricklin, sales team manager at Just Add Power. “So, while we’re disappointed we weren’t on hand to accept this prestigious award in person, we couldn’t be more excited to have our latest efforts recognized by Residential Systems.”

The MaxColor 4K60 transmitter and receiver natively support 4K60 in and out, allowing end-users to play Ultra HD video from the growing number of 4K sources and devices now availab

le. With MaxColor 4K60, video at 12-bit color and 4:4:4 chroma can be distributed over existing Cat5/Cat6 cable, eliminating the expense of upgrading to fiber and buying costly network switches. In addition, the transmitter and receiver support MPEG downstreaming for connected devices, such as a laptop or tablet.

The series delivers instant, seamless switching, 4K up- and downscaling, and HDR management, while supporting all lossless audio formats and Dolby Vision for the best viewing experience. Additional features include image pop, push, and pull; 90-degree image rotation for landscape and portrait modes; and integrated control and support for KVM.
