Just Add Power MC-USB Provides KVM Support in the MaxColor 4K60 Video-Over-IP Ecosystem

SEMINOLE, Fla. Feb. 4, 2025 Just Add Power, a leader in AV-over-IP distribution, today announced the new MaxColor™ USB 2.0 over IP device (MC-USB). Compatible with Just Add Power’s renowned MaxColor Series, the MC-USB provides local and remote access to all computers on the system with built-in keyboard, video, mouse (KVM) touchscreen, and webcam interface. The new device will be on display for the first time in the Just Add Power booth 2R600 at ISE 2025, Feb. 4-7, 2025.

“Today’s video-over-IP applications require flexible access and control, including computers that may be located at a distance,” said Ed Qualls, CEO, Just Add Power. “The MC-USB brings efficiency and security to applications where MaxColor’s 4K60 UltraHD quality is required. This new addition reflects our commitment to ensuring the MaxColor line remains the most versatile and dependable option for today’s demanding 4K installations.”

Just Add Power’s MC-USB features one USB-C 2.0 on the back, as well as two USB-C 2.0 and two USB-A 2.0 on the front, all connected over an RJ-45 1GbE Gigabit Ethernet LAN port. The company’s award-winning MaxColor 4K60 technology was introduced in 2021 to facilitate the distribution of 4K video content from any source to any screen, enabling businesses to display vivid and detailed imagery across an entire venue. Whether it’s for broadcasting live events, deploying a multiscreen video wall, or creating a specific ambiance with digital artwork, Just Add Power’s MaxColor Series has the flexibility to deliver virtually lossless 4K high-quality visual experiences that elevate any space. All MaxColor products can distribute 4K60/4:4:4/36-bit-color video over a 1Gb managed network using CatX (Cat 5e minimum) cable, while the MC-TX2 and MC-RX2 provide the option of using fiber, so integrators can use the cable that best fits their projects.
